Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah will temporarily step aside as President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), his office said on 5th September (Friday), following a guilty verdict against him in the Court of Geneva in the trial for alleged forgery.
亚洲奥林匹克理事会（OCA）主席办公室周五（九月10日）表示，就瑞士日内瓦法院针对谢赫艾哈迈德涉嫌疑伪造一案审判中对他作出有罪判决后，他决定暂时辞去亚洲奥林匹克理事会（OCA）主席的职务。
“Sheikh Ahmad has decided that he will temporarily step aside as President of the OCA until he has successfully appealed today’s verdict,” a statement from his office said.
他在科威特的办公室发表声明说“谢赫艾哈迈德决定暂时辞去 OCA 主席的职务，直到他对今天的判决上诉成功为止”。
During the interim period, Raja Randhir Singh will carry out the duties and responsibilities of the OCA President, starting with the OCA Executive Board Meeting scheduled to be held on 13th September 2021.

Sheikh Ahmad has confirmed he will appeal the verdict handed down in a Geneva court.
